Downtown Bruno talks about an event that occurred on July 4

We received the following today from Downtown Bruno:

To Wrestling News Center... Today marks the 17th anniversary of when Joey Marella fell asleep at the wheel on the New Jersey Turnpike with me in the car, died when the car flipped over and rolled into a ditch down an embankment, and through GOD's grace, I survived to tell the story. We were on our way back from Ocean City, Maryland, on our way to Newark after a long day of TV tapings. All of us in this profession give some.... Some, like Joey, and only due to GOD's will, very nearly ME.... gave ALL. Remember the real dues some people have paid in order to be in this thing of ours.... and thank GOD every day that you are still here to "fight" another day. July 4th,1994, I will never forget. This puts all the other bullshit into perspective for me, and I hope to each and every one of y'all as well. GOD bless y'all, one and all, even the kooks who post off the wall crap on the message board.... Lets all get along, ok?
