Full Throttle Wrestling (FTW)
held a sensational and a very successful
4 hour plus
action packed wrestling benefit show
on Sunday afternoon,August the 7th
at the FTW Arena
on 1020 W. Main St.
in Newbern,TN.
Wrestlers and wrestling personalities
who came from Missouri,Mississippi,Arkansas
and also in the state of Tennessee
all had assembled together in immense support
for one very noble,charitable and worthwhile cause;
in efforts to help raise money and donations
for 8-year-old wrestling fan
and Tennessee native
Lexi White
who is bravely battling bone cancer.
MATCH #1:
In a very wild
Hardcore Scramble Match
for the Full Throttle Wrestling
Hardcore Championship,
the Full Throttle Wrestling Hardcore Champion
TOMMY REDNECK
was able to successfully retain
his championship belt
by defeating the challengers
1/2 of "The Swagger Boyz"
JAY WEEZY
with his tag team partner
JOHN
"Biscuit"
ROBINSON
at ringside
DRAGON
and
CORNBREAD
as Tommy Redneck rolled up
Jay Weezy in a small package
scoring the last pinfall
during the closing moments
of the Hardcore Scramble.
After the match,
"The Swagger Boyz"
brutally attacked
re-injuring the left knee
of Tommy Redneck
from an FTW show that occurred
less than 24 hours
the previous night before.

successfully retained
his championship belt
by defeating the challenger,
the 2010 Wrestling News Center

as Ricky Andrews
caught Greg Anthony by surprise
with an inside cradle.
After the match,
Greg Anthony wanted to show
some good sportsmanship
by shaking hands with Andrews
in congratulating him
by defeating him fair and square.
It all turned out to be a rouge
because after shaking hands
and embracing him,
Anthony gave Andrews
a hard kick into the mid-section,
then spiking him
in the center of the ring
with a piledriver.

In a 6 Man Tag Team Match,

was crushed
by "The Asylum",

by Pappy
and a splash by Psycho,
then a double pin cover
by "The Asylum".
After the match,
"L.S.D." blamed Jai Webster
for losing the fall
and the match
and then brutally
attacked him.
"The Asylum"
ran back into the ring
to clear the ring
and restore order.
In a very bizarre turn of events,
Pappy of "The Asylum"
wrapped his steel chain around the neck
of Jai Webster
and dragged him
out of the ring
back en route
to the locker room area.
MATCH #7:
In a Ladies Tag Team Match,
the team of
LIL' BIT
and
AUBURN THUNDER
defeated the team of
NIKKI LANE
and
JESSICA O' RILEY
via simultaneous submissions
as Auburn Thunder
applied a double hammerlock
on both of the arms
of Jessica O’ Riley
and Lil’ Bit
applying a headscissors armbar
on Nikki Lane.

the team of

as D.J. Stunner
finished off Reno Diamond
with a top rope
split-legged moonsault.
MATCH #9:
In the Main Event Tag Team Match,
the team of
DERRICK KING

defeated the team of
MAD MONEY MIKE
and
"Sarge O' Licious"
"Sexy"
SARGE O' RILEY
with their manager
JESSICA O' RILEY
at ringside
via 1-2-3 pinfall
with a couple of superkicks,
one by Derrick King
to Sarge O' Riley
and the other by Jason The Brain
onto Mad Money Mike
as Derrick King covered Sarge O' Riley
in a lateral press
and simultaneously Jason the Brain
covering Mad Money Mike
in a lateral press
scoring a simultaneous victory
for their team.
After the match,
all of the wrestlers and wrestling personalities
of Full Throttle Wrestling
gathered and assembled
both inside the outside the ring
giving tremendous honor
and high,gracious praise
to 8-year-old Lexi White,
who was the main reason
for the Sunday,August 7th benefit wrestling show
taking place
at the FTW Arena
in Newbern,TN
as she continues her
brave,gallant fight battling bone cancer,
a battle which
I VERY STRONGLY believe
that she will persevere,
that she will overcome
and that she will triumphantly conquer!!
In another very warm,heart touching moment,
Lexi White was officially named
by Full Throttle Wrestling
as an FTW Honorary Diva
and was also presented
with an official FTW T-Shirt
by the wrestlers,the wrestling personalities
and the staff of FTW!

On a personal,final note,
I had a great time
and thoroughly enjoyed
the Sunday,August 7th
Full Throttle Wrestling
"A Benefit For Lexi" show
in Newbern,TN.
I thought that the entire show
was both well organized
and well put together.
It was a very exciting
and highly entertaining wrestling show
from start to finish and from top to bottom
that was all for a very worthwhile cause
fitting for a very young,brave,
valiant 8 year old girl
Lexi White
who is in the fight of her life
being currently stricken with cancer;
a young girl
that is so full of life
who has such a vibrant,positive,attitude
about her
and furthermore
an unbreakable,incomparable fighting spirit.
Certain people may find this
VERY HARD to believe,
but I drove nearly 10 hours,550 miles,
and through 4 states on the road
(Florida,Alabama,Mississipi and Tennessee)
to attend the "Benefit For Lexi" show
directly from a wedding ceremony
in Fort Walton Beach,FL
where a couple of good friends of mine there
had tied the knot.
Without question,
it was an incredibly long drive for me,
but in the end it was all worth it!
It was wonderful seeing
some of my old friends and colleagues
once again,
some whom I have not seen
in such a long time.
It was also great
meeting and conversing
with some new faces there
as well.
What more can I say
about the capabilities
and the talents
the likes of
"The Human Highlight Reel"
Austin Lane
and
Derrick King?
To see them wrestle in action
for the very 1st time
at a live wrestling event
was to me
nothing short of extraordinary.
Both of them are
two very outstanding wrestlers
in my book!
I sincerely would like to thank
Lil' Bit,
her husband
Jason The Brain
as well as
all of the wonderful staff and wrestlers
at Full Throttle Wrestling
for both their sincere kindness
and for their generous,warm,charming hospitality
that all of them had shown me
throughout my time
at the August 7th
"Benefit For Lexi" show
in Newbern,TN.
Big props to all of you!!!
I very strongly encourage
all wrestling fans
in the Dyersburg,TN area
and in the nearby,surrounding
west Tennessee area
to come check out
the Full Throttle Wrestling show
which runs every Saturday night
at the FTW Arena
on 1020 W. Main Street
in Newbern,TN.
