No More WWE?
Are you ready for a steady diet of TNA?
Wow...I leave for a month and everything goes weird.
I got an e-mail this morning from Hub Pages, (I have several wrestling Hubs there) saying they had to un-publish all their Hubs with "WWE" in the title.
Well this was bad for me because almost all of my wrestling Hubs are about WWE Divas.
I don't blame Hub Pages at all.
It seems that World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (“WWE”) is claiming exclusive ownership of the trademark "WWE", so they had to unpublish all hubs with WWE in their title.
Does the WWE know how much free advertising they get from blogs, websites and hubs?
So whats next?
Are they gonna want all info on WWE superstars taken down?
Does this mean the internet will have to shift it's focus to TNA?
TNA seems to have no problem with free publicity.
In fact, they seem to encourage it.
So are we looking at a future with promotions like TNA, Shimmer and other Indys getting the free internet pushes?
I'm just a little fish in a big pond, but what about the big wrestling websites?
What if their focus turns totally from the WWE to TNA and the Indy promotions?
No more Mickie James and Beth Phoenix, they get replaced by Velvet Sky and ODB?
The famous "Diva of the Day" gets replaced by the "Knockout of the Day"?
The TNA PPVs and events start getting the major heat?
And in a related "karmatic" development, Wrestling Inc is reporting that Muscle Flex is ready to file a lawsuit against the WWE seeking damages over the use of the "Raw" brand name in Canada.
