Life hasn't been a bed of roses (by any means) for former WWF / WWE Diva Chyna.
Chyna (Joan Laurer) has been female wrestling's version of Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears.
And now we get this from SFGate about a story broken by TMZ....
Wrestler-turned-actress Chyna has been accused of attacking a friend at a motel on Saturday, according to a report.
Chyna, real name Joanie Laurer, has allegedly been named in a battery investigation by officials at the Los Angeles Police Department.
Gabriela Targos, who claims she has been friends with the star for years, alleges Laurer attacked her for no reason at a motel in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Chyna only held the WWF Women's Championship once, but she made a big impact on fans, and I know they feel bad about the way her life has gone since leaving wrestling.
Other ex- Divas like Trish Stratus, Lita (Amy Dumas), Molly Holly (Nora Greenwald) and Stacy Keibler have done fairly well for themselves since leaving women's wrestling, but Chyna seems to hit one bad patch after another.
For awhile after leaving the WWE, things didn't look too bad for the "Ninth Wonder of the World".
Her book If They Only Knew was on the The New York Times' bestseller list, she appeared in a Sevendust music video, she had a guest shot on 3rd Rock from the Sun, she was on a special celebrity edition of Fear Factor, she appeared in the films Just Another Romantic Wrestling Comedy and Illegal Aliens.
But she had a bad relationship with Sean Waltman (X-Pac, 1-2-3 Kid, 6-Pac, The Lightning Kid and on and on) and wound up actually getting arrested for domestic assault after allegedly beating him.
After Anna Nicole Smith's death, Chyna appeared on Larry King Live and was visibly upset, talking about how Anna's life paralleled hers.
Even though Chyna worked on Anna Nicole Smith's movie Illegal Aliens, after the Larry King interview, the wife of the CEO of Trim Spa, Monique Goen said Anna did not consider Chyna a "friend".
Chyna has spent years battling drug and alcohol addiction, as well as mental illness, and has been in and out of rehab centers.
She even appeared on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew in 2008.
I don't know what Chyna wants or needs.
But I hope she does find it.
The only woman that ever held the the WWF Intercontinental Championship (twice) deserves some happiness.

Wrestling News and Rumors - TNA Knockouts and WWE Divas
http://www.tnawrestling.com/
The first thing is that at the TNA PPV, Lockdown, not only did the TNA Knockouts title change hands, but the TNA Knockouts tag-team titles did as well.
In a match with Angelina Love and Tara vs. The Beautiful People, Madison Rayne won the match for The Beautiful People when Lacey Von Erich hit Tara with the belt from behind.
Thusly, Madison is the new TNA Knockouts champion, and The Beautiful People are the new TNA Knockouts tag-team champs as well.
After the match, Angelina Love was looking at Tara all mean for getting pinned, she helped Tara up, turned to walk away and Tara attacked Angelina from behind.
Now, there are three articles recently posted at the Bleacher Report that I thought everyone might find interesting.
Firts up, an article by Dan Power, about how the "old school" WWF/WWE female wrestlers would never make it as Divas today.....
"Some of the best wrestling ladies would never be considered to become a Diva in nowadays WWE standards.
Currently, the WWE marketing department presents the Divas as ''Sexy, Smart, Powerful.'. As you see, the word ''sexy'' comes first."
You can read the full article (with slide show) here
Second, there is an article by The Phantom, talking about how some of the current WWE Divas are better wrestlers than you think.
I have to admit I agree with all but one of his picks.
If you read my blogs regularly, you'll know which one I don't agree with.
I also think he left out one major player, but hey, its all opinion right?
You can read the full article (with another really cool slide show) here
And Adam Skylark has an article titled "Is It Time WWE Starting Listing to The Internet Fans" that while it's not exactly directed women's wrestling, it's something I've been saying for awhile.
